Introduction & Purpose
• Canada Week in Dubai 2025 is a charity-focused celebration of Canada and the 40,000 Canadians that live in the UAE, together with other hockey-loving residents. 2025 represents the 20thanniversary of Canada Week, and the 15th anniversary of Canada’s men’s and women’s gold medal hockey victories at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.

• The purpose of Canada Week is solely to raise funds for cancer research in the UAE. All proceeds will be donated in Terry Fox’s name to the TFF’s local partner, the Al Jalila Foundation.

• Canada Week will host hockey games and clinics with legendary NHL players, showcase Canadian culture and entertainment, a golf day, an Iftar dinner followed by a Gala Reception, and more.

Monday, March 3

Opening invitation-only reception for Canada Week. Invited guests hosted by Canadian Ambassador HE Kris Panday and Canadian Consul General HE Tracy Reynolds, with Ambassadors, Consuls General and Business Council chairpersons from other participating countries (USA, Finland and Sweden).

Tuesday, March 4 – Thursday, March 6

Hockey games at the iconic Dubai Mall hockey rink featuring retired NHL players from Canada, the US, Finland and Sweden, as well as community all-star teams.

EVENT DETAILS:

Date: 4th to 9th March (all events, see link below for more information)
Time: 7:30 - 11:30 PM on the 4th, 5th and 6 March for the Ice Hockey Games
Venue: Hockey games with Swedish NHL players will be at Dubai Mall hockey rink
Price: Free
Dress Code: Swedish colors (depending on who you support)
RSVP: No need to register, just show up and support the game
