Hejsan! from the new Chairman of SBC

Hejsan!  

I am honoured to have this opportunity to address you all as the newly appointed Chairman of the Swedish Business Council here in the UAE. It is with great enthusiasm and dedication that I step into this role, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share my excitement with you. 

With over 15 years of experience working for Swedish companies across the board - General Industry, FMCG, Food & Beverage, I have had the privilege of playing roles as CEO, Director of Sales, and Senior Project Manager of Supply Chain Development. These experiences have not only shaped my professional journey but have also ignited my passion for collaboration, partnerships, and making people work together to create shared value. Today, I define myself as an entrepreneur and investor, putting my time and effort into businesses that help shaping a more sustainable future for coming generations. The start-up space is a creative and inspiring place to be and a continues learning, every day, which suits my personality greatly.  

As I assume the role of Chairman, I am committed to continue the brilliant and strong work delivered under the leadership of Pauline Madani and strengthen our unique platform by and for Swedish professionals and businesses here in the UAE. Together, we will embrace “samhörighet”, drive sustainable growth of our network, and foster an environment of collaboration and value creation for all amazing members of the Swedish Business Council. 

I firmly believe that the success of any organization is rooted in the collective efforts of its members. I encourage open lines of communication and collaboration as we work towards our shared goals in the region.
